Packing up for the Weekend!!
Today I am busy packing suitcases and checking off to-do lists , but this exact date just 5 years ago, I was checking off a different to-do list so that I could say I-DO to the man of my dreams. Wow. It's really hard to believe. Not so much that we have been together for 5 years, but how much we have been through in 5 years, conquering life together and being teammates. Soul mates.
Last year, I wrote this post for my wonderful husband, but this year we are packing the bags for a much needed get-a-way. In just 17 hours we will head to Mrytle Beach for 3 whole days. This is the 1st time that we will have left the kids and the 1st vacation since our honeymoon. From Jamaica to Myrtle Beach... you do what ya can, right? :)
I also decided to reveal my lovely husband's anniversary gift to him on this very blog. Some of you may think this is not a BIG gift, but I promise that his face will show otherwise...
